Exceptional Education

In classrooms and communities

The College of Lifetime Learning works with schools and communities across Georgia to expand access to rigorous and engaging learning in STEM and related fields at the earliest stages of life. Grounded in research and shaped by hands‑on practice, our goal is to spark curiosity that strengthens learner agency for a lifetime of learning.

With teams based in both Atlanta and Savannah, we provide instructional materials and professional learning for educators alongside hands-on STEM experiences for K–12 students, including competitions.

We support dual enrollment opportunities that allow high school students to earn college credit and engage in college‑level learning as part of an early pathway toward future educational and career goals. In pursuit of our goal of access for all, EXCEL is Georgia Tech's inclusive four-year college certificate program for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
